Experienced public speaker, available to talk to groups and associations about editors and editing.

My work as a freelance academic editor began in 2015 when I began regularly editing Ph.D. theses, scientific journals, and essays. Many of my tasks include reading, editing, and participating in the preparation of technical reports and manuscripts for submission to various engineering and scientific journals. I am also experienced in editing educational resource evaluations and writing annotations for each. I am a contributing writer to the West Coast Editor blog for Editors BC and hold a position on the executive committee as co-chair of programming with Editors BC.

I have one Bachelor's degree in French and Spanish, and a second one in Education. I also possess a Master's Degree in Education and am completing a Certificate in Editing at Simon Fraser University.

I am an organized and thorough editor, always striving for excellence. I take pleasure in refining written work and in producing writing of excellent quality.  Additionally, I am an experienced professional educator, working as a teacher in Vancouver, BC since 2006. I also have extensive experience tutoring high school and university students in languages, mathematics, and the sciences.
