I offer plain language consulting, training/workshops, writing and editing. I write, ghostwrite, and edit for corporate, non-profit, professional, and non-fiction publishing clients. 

I can help you with books, articles, websites, journals, reports, conference papers, newsletters, brochures, social media, ad copy and scripts—or anything else you use to get your message across.

I’ve worked with complex topics like tax, law, finance and immigration. I’m not intimidated by challenging content and I love to learn about new subjects.

Some of my particular areas of knowledge and experience include health and fitness, diet and nutrition, cooking and baking, camping and outdoor recreation, animals, New Zealand (where I lived for seven years), and adventure/budget travel.

Before starting my freelance writing and editing career I worked as a communications specialist for five years and had a successful career in TV production. This gave me lots of experience working as part of a team and collaborating with other writers, producers, performers, graphic artists, and printers, and bridging the gap between the creative team and the business team.
