I studied history and English at the University of Toronto and hold a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation earned while working as a research associate for an international bank. In addition to my CFA, I hold the Certificate in Financial Services Advice from the Canadian Securities Institute. Finance, investment, economics, and business are areas of strength, but I'm also an experienced fiction and non-fiction editor and proofreader. My editorial training includes courses in copy, stylistic, and structural editing, seminars in proofreading and digital markup, and an internship at HarperCollins Canada.

When you hire me to work on your project, expect high-quality editorial services, a professional and co-operative working relationship, and work delivered on time and at a reasonable cost.

Clients: Scotia Group of Companies, Financial Planners Standards Council, Mackenzie Financial Corporation, McGraw-Hill Ryerson, HarperCollins Canada, Colborne Communications, The Globe and Mail, Knopf Canada, GMP Securities, TD Securities, and John Wiley & Sons.

References available upon request. For new clients I’m happy to provide a short sample edit free of charge; this may help to detrrmine whether I’m a good fit for your project.

I love rush and overnight jobs for financial and engineering firms. My hourly rate is higher for these.
