Sheri Doyle


I am an editor and published author with 15 years of experience. I provide editorial services for trade publishers, educational publishers, and writers of fiction and nonfiction.       

Publishers and editorial service companies I have worked with include Pajama Press, Nelson Education, Pearson, Rubicon Publishing, Crabtree Publishing, Capstone Press, Clarity Content, Red Line Editorial, Beech Street Books, Carus Publishing Company, and Benjamin Franklin Literary & Medical Society. 

I specialize in topics related to language arts, social science, humanities, and fine arts.  I have worked on numerous Pre-K to Grade 12 projects that meet curriculum guidelines and Common Core Standards.

My services for authors include developmental editing, structural and stylistic editing, copyediting, manuscript/novel evaluation and critique, book coaching, and novel marketing. 

I have a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and English from York University. I have also completed postgraduate courses in editing at Ryerson University and Simon Fraser University.   

I have written 22 books for young people. I have also written numerous newspaper and magazine articles. I am currently writing my second novel and working on a poetry collection.
