On May 5, 2021, we let you know Editors Canada would be ending editors.ca email addresses for members effective May 21, 2021. The national office sent reminders on May 12 and May 17.
If you missed the May 19 deadline and would still like to forward your editors.ca or reviseurs.ca address to another email account until November 26, 2021, please fill out this form as soon as possible.
Our IT provider has finished migrating our email server and we can report that Editors Canada email accounts for members are now closed.
- Members who used an editors.ca or reviseurs.ca email account to send mail are no longer be able to do so.
- Roundcube webmail has been shut down.
- Members who completed the email address redirect request form by the May 19 deadline are now receiving email sent to their editors.ca or reviseurs.ca address in their personal inbox. You will reply from your personal email address. Email forwarding will end on November 26, 2021.
Once again, we are sorry we can no longer offer email services to members. The decision to end this free benefit of membership was not one the NEC made lightly. Doing so allows members to find more reliable email service elsewhere. It also allows Editors Canada to direct our resources to fixing our web services and keeping them manageable and secure for the long term.
