If you're an editor, join us. If you're on your way to becoming an editor, consider student affiliation, or join as a member. Everyone is welcome.

Get in touch with more than 1,300 other editors across the country, with members of related associations, and with editors working around the world.

Professional editing is key in producing effective communications. Our members, salaried and freelance, work throughout Canadian private and public sectors as individuals and as part of larger teams.

Join now

Join now as a member. Open to anyone and allows participation in all programs and benefits.

Join now as a student affiliate. To apply as a student affiliate, you must supply proof of student status, such as a signed letter from a professor or an unofficial transcript with the name of the educational institution, your name and a date (including the year) to info@editors.ca.

Join now as an emeritus member. Open to editors who are 60 years of age or older and have a total of any 10 years of membership in the association. To apply for emeritus membership, you must supply proof of age.

Join now as a two-year member. Members who renew for two years will receive a 5% discount on their membership fee. Note: The two-year option is not available for emeritus members and student affiliates.

Processing time

Processing of Editors Canada applications and renewals for membership or student affiliation, Online Directory of Editors profiles, and/or email addresses may take up to a week.
