“Making words work” is my motto as an editor. I believe that every writer can benefit from the services of a good editor, no matter what the project. If you entrust your project to me, I’ll make sure all your words serve your goals – clearly, correctly and gracefully.

I’m an editor of fiction and non-fiction with more than 20 years of experience, and I’ve worked on just about everything from literary fiction to brochures, recipes and CD liner notes. My rates are very competitive. E-mail me for a free estimate. If I can’t help you myself, I’ll help you find somebody who can.

Areas of interest not fully covered in the lists below include literary fiction (both novels and short stories), mystery fiction, science fiction, fiction in translation, popular music, rock music, experimental music, nutrition, cuisine, health, exercise, nature, journalism, newspapers, immigration, human relations, human rights, human sexuality, gay culture and history, gay fiction (both novels and short stories), performing arts, film, theatre, dance, fine art (visual art), education, blogs on any subject and, above all, humour. Currently looking in particular for more fiction editing (novel and short story) and blog editing clients.
