Thursday Welcome Dinner
If you're getting into town early, get a jump on your networking by joining a group of your fellow editors for dinner at Les Brasseurs du Temps on Thursday, June 8 at 6 pm. This outing doubles as a tourist attraction; browse the in-house beer museum to learn about the Outaouais region's rich brewing history, sip some of the areas best craft beer and enjoy the atmosphere inside what was the area's first brewery a century ago.
RSVP to Kristen Dolenko by May 31st at 2017conferencelocal@editors.ca.
Guided Tour
Much of Gatineau and Ottawa are on traditional Algonquin land. Join me on a walk to Victoria Island and tour the Algonquin summer camp. Victoria Island is a short but lovely walk from the hotel past the Chaudière Falls. We’ll meet in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza on Thursday, June 8, at 2 p.m. and be back with plenty of time before dinner.
RSVP to Kristen Dolenko at 2017conferencelocal@editors.ca.
