What Editors Need to Know About Artificial Intelligence (AI) Writers

Join Editors Toronto on Tuesday, October 25, at 7:00 pm EDT via Zoom for “What Editors Need to Know About Artificial Intelligence (AI) Writers.”

For editors in the corporate communications and marketing space, the next writer you interact with might not be human. Artificial intelligence (AI) has seen tremendous gains over the last decade, and what seemed like science fiction a decade ago is now reality. AI content tools such as AI writers are being used by companies that want to save time and money. What does this mean for editors and editorial managers?

In our second program of the 2022–23 season, Braveen Kumar, writer and content marketing consultant, will explain exactly what AI writers are and the technology they’re based on. He’ll share what these tools are good at as well as their weaknesses. Braveen has tested out many of the top tools, so he’ll be demonstrating them live using inputs from the audience. We’ll also learn more about Braveen and his career journey.

About the speaker:
Braveen Kumar is a writer and content marketing consultant with over seven years of experience creating content for small business and enterprise audiences. He's worked in-house for companies like Shopify, Superside, and Uberflip, and as a consultant for several tech startups.
