Erin Miller

Professional copy editing, proofreading, and stylistic/line editing for children's, middle grades and young adult fiction, academic and scholarly writing, business, blogs, fantasy fiction, non-fiction, and more!

I'm Erin Miller, a professional freelance editor with training and experience in copy editing, stylistic and line editing, proofreading, and business and professional writing. I've taken courses through Simon Frasier University's Editing Certificate program, and I continue to develop my skills through webinars and courses with Editors Canada, Copyediting, and online and in-person networking groups and events. I am a member of Editors Canada and the Writer's Federation of New Brunswick.

Beyond my training as an editor and writer, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in English, and a diploma in Digital Media Design. My diverse educational background gives me a unique set of skills that allows me to be comfortable working in many different subject areas.

While my focus is on academic and scholarly editing and children's, middle grades, and young adult fiction, I love to explore different areas in editing and writing. I am especially interested in the topics of parenting and child development, education, psychology and mental health, food and nutrition, outdoor recreation and adventure, and arts and culture.

Fiction, non-fiction, academic, scholarly, journal articles, blog posts, website content, brochures, articles, newsletters, manuscripts, indie writing, self-publishing: I'll edit it all. If your project needs some polish and your words need some sparkle, I'm here to help!
