I have been working as an editor since 1991, and have been a freelancer for 25 years. My special areas of expertise and passion are fiction, religion/spirituality, LGBT writing, literature and poetry. I was the copy editor of the 2018 Giller Prize winner Washington Black by Esi Edugyan.
I trained as a copy editor at Penguin Books in London, and have also worked for Random House, HarperCollins, House of Anansi, Goose Lane Editions, Annick Press, Firefly Books, Thomas Allen, Key Porter Books, and Prentice Hall.
