Train with the Editors' Association of Canada—the editing experts!
Since 1979, Editors Canada has been delivering high-quality training for editors at every stage of their careers. Here's how you can get on the path to excellence.
Editors Canada professional certification identifies editors who are masters of their craft. Whether you're an editor or someone who hires editors, you can benefit from the landmark certification program offered by Editors Canada.
The annual national conference, which is hosted in cycles by a different branch every year, provides training and networking opportunities for members and the public alike.
We are proud to announce the launch of the John Eerkes-Medrano Mentorship Program. This national program offers editors across the country the opportunity to participate in one-on-one mentor-mentee relationships, and is available exclusively to Editors Canada members and student affiliates.
Local seminars and programs
The association's regional branches and twigs offer seminars and programs covering a range of topics, including basic skills in proofreading, copy editing and substantive editing. They also deal with special-interest and advanced topics such as web editing, technical editing, photo editing and business development.
